Hardy’s 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon
Tied into a bargain this morning, picking up 3 Liters of Australian Cabernet for 11 bucks, and pairing it with a small, rare, well seasoned sirloin steak and baugette proved that it was a great deal.A second glass with a smoke really amped up my excitement over my first Cabernet. This wine has a fruity nose, and a great mouth-feel.Later, back at the grocery, they were sampling 2004 Louis Martini Cab, and it was only slightly better than the Hardy’s, but at 4 times the price! I also tasted a 12$ bottle of Pinot, and maybe I just don’t like Pinot Grigio.
Had a mixed day in the studio yesterday-hot in the vocal booth and plagued by hardware/software issues and interruptions, but very enjoyable nonetheless.Several songs in final post-production, and will be posted here as soon as I get ‘em- in the meanwhile, I’ve replaced the old mixes with some of my punk rock favs.
So, that’s the wine and song news.I’ll share what I’m learning about women when I learn something about women, what I have found out may be a new song before I spill it here at the blog, but all 3 areas of interest are holding my interest, and I am enjoying the hell out of the journey!
